PLEDGING: How do I pledge?
You have to set up a Kickstarter account to pledge to a campaign. Then, select the reward level, edit your pledge amount if you like, then click pledge. You don’t get charged until the campaign successfully ends.

PLEDGING: Why do I see the reward prices in Canadian dollars?
We are based in Canada, so the official currency of our campaign is in Canadian dollars. Our Kickstarter price is shown in USD in each pledge box as well as on the Reward banner of our campaign. Please note that you will be charged in your local currency.

Once you’ve backed the project, you can click Manage Pledge at the top of our page. You can then click Change Pledge and add the appropriate amount for your desired add-on.

ORDER: Where do I find my Backer Number?
Click on your Avatar at the top right, and select “Backed Projects” in the drop down menu. Expand the information on our project by pressing the “+” icon, and you will see your backer number at the bottom. If you are on a mobile device, you may not be able to find your backer number in the same manner. In this case, please refer to your Kickstarter confirmation email.

SHIPPING: is there a risk of delay because of the Novel Coronavirus?
We have already secured enough Ergon Bands (Black, Red, Brown) in-stock for our backers. Although we can ship all the orders as soon as the campaign ends, we have considered plenty of time for quality checks, personalization, and packaging to ensure there won’t be any delays. We have reviewed all known risks; however, Coronavirus is still an unknown problem for the world. In the rare case, if it affects the postal services like the United States Postal Service (USPS) or Canada Post, it may also affect our campaign similar to any other postal-related services in the world. Again, we want to emphasize that we have everything planned appropriately, and have a good buffer of time for on-time delivery.

TECHNICAL: Does Ergon Band keep the functionality of smart watches like the heart rate sensors?
We have designed the Ergon Band to keep perfect contact between the watch sensors and your skin. We have compared the results of an Apple watch using the Apple watch band worn in the traditional wrist position and an Apple watch worn on the Ergon Band. Through a series of exercises, the watches gave similar results. We also have tested Garmin Fenix 5X, and the sensors work very well.

Ergon Band can resist any harsh conditions. However, we don’t recommend swimming with Ergon Band as it is made of real leather.

Yes, ErgonBand can be worn on many running, cycling, and other sport/winter gloves. The size of ErgonBand is adjustable, so that you can wear it on most of the gloves.

TECHNICAL: Is Ergon Band compatible with my watch?
Ergon Band fits almost all watches. The only watches that are not compatible are the ones with center lug band or integrated band (both are rare cases). At the end of the campaign, you will receive a survey to collect your watch specs and your preferences.

TECHNICAL: How to change Ergon Band with Traditional watch band?
Band change is easy and quick. We have designed Ergon Band for the fast swap in any possible case.
Apple Watch: Slide it to the Ergon band, and it’s done.
Any watch with regular spring bar (pin): we use quick-release pin in any possible case, so you can quickly change the band.
Garmin watches: As some Garmin models have big watch faces (ex: Fenix 6x=51mm), there won’t be enough space on hand to add the quick release for screw pins. For these cases, we use traditional Garmin screwdrivers as Garmin used for Fenix 3X. You will have screwdrivers in the Ergon band package and do not need to get any extra parts. We have tested Ergon Band on Garmin, and the time it takes to switch between the bands is literally less than 1 minute.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
